Kraig Feighery, the 2015 South Florida PGA Section Southwest Chapter Merchandiser of the Year for Public Facilities and a Golf Digest Top 100 Clubfitter, is the PGA general manager at Alico Family Golf Center in Fort Myers, Florida.

Kraig Feighery on the importance of hosting Friday Fun Nights:
Here at the Alico Family Golf Center, one of our main focuses revolves around the entire family enjoying golf. In order to combine these two together, we looked to blend all of our amenities at an unbeatable, family-oriented value and started offering our Friday Fun Nights. For $10 per person, guests can play 18 holes of mini-golf, nine holes of pitch and putt, which includes SNAG for the youngsters, and they can also utilize unlimited range balls from 5:00-10:00 p.m. We have no requirements regarding dress code as this fun night revolves around relaxation and enjoyment.

Kraig Feighery on the business impact of hosting Friday Fun Nights:
Since we began advertising Friday Fun Nights, we have been averaging 50-plus guests each Friday night at the $10 per person price. Of those 50 people, roughly 50 percent utilize all of the amenities and we see are largest draw in mini-golf and our nine-hole pitch and putt course. Additionally, we offer $1.50 beers (wine as well) and one of our recent Fridays saw 100 cans sold. A typical Friday Fun Night is now bringing in $600-$900 and we’re only heading into week four!
