GRAA Pavilion was a Demo Day Destination

The GRAA Pavilion attracted nonstop traffic at last month’s PGA Show Demo Day at Orange County National outside of Orlando. The annual gathering brings PGA Professionals and industry experts together for a one-of-a-kind demo experience, and access to the latest in golf equipment from the industry’s major suppliers.

Over the last few years, the GRAA has grown its footprint and become an anticipated Demo Day destination. Located just inside the entrance at Lower Tee 2 (prime real estate), the GRAA Pavilion was an unending party in 2018. Partnering with Toptracer Range, the Topgolf innovation that’s designed to deliver the same ball tracking technology used during professional golf broadcast to range goers, the Pavilion was highlighted by a live DJ, craft beer and the chance to put Toptracer to the test.

“Demo Day was fantastic. We hosted thousands of people and dozens of media outlets. People were really excited by what they saw,” says Ani Mehta, who oversees the expansion of Toptracer as the VP of Corporate Development at Topgolf. “It is one thing to explain Toptracer Range (TTR) to someone, but actually getting to try it completely drives home the beauty of the technology. TTR is one of the top priorities for Topgolf, and the success of the Show has served to make that even clearer.”

In addition to housing Toptracer Range, the GRAA Pavilion gave attendees a chance to test the highly touted ToughLie 360 – a tool designed to practice and teach on uneven lies – and was lit up by LED video walls from Insane Impact as golfers could reload easily with Power Tees.

“Our goal with Demo Day is to really show PGA Professionals how they can make their own range a fun place to be,” says GRAA Publisher and CEO Rick Summers. “Toptracer was one of the most sought after items at the Show this year, and on top of that we had ToughLie 360 available for professionals to test. We demonstrated how they can use the innovative teaching tool to grow their instruction programs.

“We’re also very proud of our partnership with the Folds of Honor and the tremendous work they do to support military families. To be able to share space with them, and all of partners at Demo Day, is special.”
