Toptracer Range made its U.S.-soil major championship debut at the 100th PGA Championship earlier this month at Bellerive CountryClub in St. Louis. The popular technology was on display on a giant LED screen at the practice range, where golf fans could see real-time data, view the shape of each PGA Championship competitor’s shot and compare it to other players for an exciting spectator experience. For fans watching at home, Top tracer was featured in the CBS, TNT, Golf Channel and PGA.com broadcasts from the range, showing how players in the field prepare for their rounds and also practice. Cameras were strategically positioned on the entire length of the practice range to ensure that every shot hit was tracked.
