Since launching at the 2016 PGA Merchandise Show in January, the PGA Magazine Women Leaders Platform has experienced impressive growth and continues to provide great event, networking and idea-sharing opportunities for women PGA and LPGA Professionals across the country. At a recent event at Kenwood Golf and Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland, attendees learned how PGA Magazine is giving women PGA Professionals a blank canvas to “paint the picture” of the areas, events and ideas they would like discussed and shared among one another. The platform revolves around what women PGA Professionals want and provides a platform to help them grow the game at a local level using various aspects of the facility, including the practice range.

PGA Junior Golf Camps is launching its new Competitive Edge Overnight Camps, which is designed for advanced and competitive youth golfers. The camps are focused on accelerated game improvement for co-eds ages 12-18, who are seeking a competitive edge in preparing for tournament play, as well as collegiate golf. Camps include the advanced study of all aspects of the game, utilize the industry’s most advanced instruction technologies and feature daily oncourse PGA Professional instruction to hone course management skills. The camps also incorporate fitness and conditioning sessions, as well as nutrition seminars. Campers will be housed in four-star accommodations located on property at the four camp locations: Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisconsin; PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida; Silverado Resort & Country Club in Napa, California; and Pauma Valley Country Club in San Diego County, California.
