ABOUT THE GOLF FITNESS ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA (GFAA):
More than 25,000 golf teachers, coaches and fitness professionals now participate each month in GFAA initiatives. The GFAA is managed by the same group that manages PGA Magazine, the Golf Range Association of America (GRAA) and works with 15 of the largest Allied Golf Associations of the USGA, reaching more than 1,500,000 avid-core golfers. In addition to sharing winning ideas through the GFAA’s exclusive media, members benefit through numerous GFAA events and the GFAA’s advocacy to the entire golf industry on the importance of prioritizing fitness in general and in helping golf coaches and teachers deliver better outcomes for their students. In January, the GFAA, in cooperation with the world-recognized Gray Institute, introduced an innovative dual-certification golf movement and stability program to rave reviews. In April, the official e-publication of the GFAA was upgraded to a new software platform, allowing a fully responsive presentation on user’s mobile phones and other devices. And later this year, the GFAA will expand its awards programs to help selected members who are doing special work receive the recognition they deserve.
