FootJoy announces the introduction of XPS-1™ to the custom MyJoys® program. XPS-1 was designed to provide the golfer with unparalleled levels of platform stability and balance during the golf swing. Extensive player testing has concluded that some golfers need added stability in their golf footwear and XPS-1 provides them with just that. XPS-1 now gives the player unmatched platform stability and comfort in a striking new customizable pattern.
This fresh new XPS-1 design features three areas of customizable color: a base color being the predominant color on the shoe and half moon contemporary saddle to give it a modern golf look. An additional accent color will cover the tongue and top collar of the shoe. A new ghost white Xtreme Outsole featuring TPU lateral outriggers that extend beyond the upper to create an ultra-wide platform for maximum ground contact give the XPS-1 its trademark stability platform.
XPS-1 will also feature all of the original under-the-hood elements that made it one of the highest performing shoes in golf. This technology packed shoe offers unmatched levels of comfort and fit. Innovative 3D Viscoelastic GelCollar™ technology provides custom fit and comfort around the collar while a LaserPlus Last is contoured to precisely match the shape of the foot. A high-performance Multi-Density Fit-Bed® with EVA support and HeelLoc™ technology further enhances stability, cushioning and shock absorption.
Additionally, with the introduction of XPS-1 to MyJoys, six new microfiber materials will also be added to the program. These materials will be used in conjunction with the 40 plus leathers previously available in the MyJoys program, including smooth, patent, metallic and animal print leathers.
