FlightScope Launching Revamped Academy at the PGA Merchandise Show

FlightScope®, a world leader in the development and manufacturing of 3D Doppler ball tracking monitors, golf radars and launch monitors for sports, today announces its revamped 2015 FlightScope Academy. Kicking off 2015 at the PGA Merchandise Show, FlightScope’s instructional program teaches golf professionals about its technology and how to utilize it as a tool for instruction and club fitting.

“At FlightScope, we’re constantly innovating and adding new features and applications to our products,” said Henri Johnson, founder and CEO of FlightScope, “The improvements to our current Academy Program reflect those changes and also better serve our customers.”

Some of the changes to the program include more visual data parameter explanations and presentations from renowned speakers. LPGA Golfer Sandra Gal, the Golf Channel’s Michael Breed, and Dr. Sasho Mackenzie, Ph. D. in Sports Biomechanics will all make special presentations at the launch of the revamped program in Orlando. The academy will still consist of live demonstrations and interactive discussions around how to use the device in golf instruction and club fitting. Other new features include best practices from industry leaders on how they utilize FlightScope technology.

“That’s what’s great about our products,” added Johnson. “They’re not just an asset to improve your golf game, but they’re a tool that instructors can use to attract new customers and increase annual revenue.”

The PGA Merchandise Show FlightScope Academy will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2015 from 11:00a.m. – 5:30 p.m. PGA professionals will be able to earn 6 MSR credits for attending.
