Blast Motion to Host Golf Workshop at the 2017 PGA Merchandise Show

Blast Motion, an industry innovator focused on 360-degree athletic improvement through software services and advanced sensor-based motion capture, is offering a 5-hour interactive workshop for coaches of all skill levels at the 2017 PGA Merchandise Show. Training sessions are scheduled for January 23rd and 24th and will be held at the Marriott Grande Vista. By leveraging Blast’s patented sensor-based motion capture technology, the workshop will provide coaches with a deeper understanding of golf swing and putting stroke mechanics and will demonstrate how Blast technology has been optimized to help coaches train their students and improve their performance.

The Blast sensor easily and securely attaches to the grip of nearly any putter, driver, iron or wedge, delivering real-time performance metrics to the Blast app. Blast Connect further automates sensor data collection and analysis with a fully integrated suite of software analysis, coaching, communication and management tools. Blast Connect gives coaches the ability to review an athlete’s practice sessions, assign workouts, analyze metrics, & provide remote coaching through powerful video analysis, voiceover, and markup features. The Blast Connect software services can be used with or without a Blast sensor. Blast Golf 360 is trusted by over 150 top PGA, LPGA and Champions Tours players, helping them improve their timing and lower their scores. With 100’s of thousands of PGA and Tour Pro strokes and 3D data captured, this workshop offers unique insights for every participant.

“While the sensor has been widely accepted as the standard in 3D swing and stroke analysis, Blast Connect takes it to a new level in helping coaches and athletes recognize and execute game improvement strategies” said Mike Fox, Golf Channel Manager, Blast Motion. “This workshop represents a unique opportunity to learn the not only the science of stroke mechanics, but actionable changes to improve an athlete’s game with real and measurable results.”
