With a new year upon us, it’s time to celebrate our 2023 Golf Range Association of America (GRAA) Award Winners. This is our 12th year of recognizing the best teachers and coaches in golf and highlighting the cream of the crop in public, private and stand-alone facilities. With the popularity of golf now greater than ever, it is vital that these professionals continue their records of excellence and educate the next generation of industry leaders at the same time.
Our 2023 GRAA Top 50 Stand Alone Facilities are welcoming a more diverse population of golfers than ever. Since the pandemic, these stand-alone driving ranges have offered full-swing practice, short-game amenities, practice putting opportunities, player development programming, social engagement and a chance to learn the golf swing in a pressure-free environment. Many of these facilities offer custom club fitting to ensure new golfers are utilizing equipment that meets their specifications, private lessons to maximize time with a skilled instructor and group clinics to maximize the investment the novice golfer is making in this new activity. With some ranges earning their first award and others making the list year after year, this eclectic list of golf practice facilities is growing the game at the grassroots level.
