E-Z-GO Offers New TekVue GPS Management Systems

E-Z-GO, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, is pleased to announce its exclusive agreement with TekGPS Enterprise Inc., to be the preferred supplier of GPS management solutions for E-Z-GO® fleet golf cars. Offering three distinct options, the TekVue 7, TekVue 7EX and TekVue 10EX, the systems will be offered worldwide via E-Z-GO’s sales network.

TekGPS offers a unique suite of TekVue GPS Management systems, specifically developed to provide effective, real-time vehicle management, multi-media communications and state-of-the art golfer conveniences. Unlike other systems within the industry, TekGPS leverages a unique “open- platform” configuration that can evolve and grow based on a facility’s need for future integrated value-added apps.

TekVue models install on the golf car canopy, are simple to use via a high-resolution, touch screen display and operate via a built-in internal battery. The systems receive automatic software updates, and TekVue provides the golf facility with a standard extended care service that includes technical assistance and unlimited customer support.

* The TekVue 7, aptly named after its 7-inch screen is the standard model with a text based communication system that provides two-way messaging between the course and its golfers. The individual vehicle management module includes geofencing, pace statistics and multi- media advertising and a Fleet Management module provides the facility with real-time tracking and vehicle management tools.

* The TekVue 7EX has a 7-inch display and encompasses all the benefits of the TekVue 7 with the addition of an enhanced golfer package. The package generates a custom high- definition graphical interface of the course with added golfer features such as pro-tips, distance tools and hole-flyovers.

* The TekVue 10EX has a 10.1-inch screen that offers a deluxe visual experience and includes all the benefits of the TekVue 7EX.

“TekGPS models offer our customers a diverse line up of cost effective, GPS systems to manage their fleet and enhance the golfer experience,” said Matt Zaremba, Director of Product & Strategy for E-Z-GO’s golf business. “In the future, the ‘open platform’ technology will enable customers to customize and grow their business operations.”

“E-Z-GO has been at the forefront of the golf industry for over 60 years and this agreement affords TekGPS the ability to leverage their extensive global sales network,” said Mark Price, CEO of TekGPS Enterprise Inc.
