Customer does not necessarily WANT to come in the pro-shop. They want to bypass it so they can hit balls rather than standling inline waiting for customers that cant make up their mind. Also, the profit margins on range balls is alot higher than the merhandise you keep in your shop by more than 50%.

Great job! I have been doing this practicce since 1992. It is a great way to expose new players and new families to our sport. If you go to my website, homeontherangegolf.com, you can see my range and the SNAG course it becomes.
The first day I opened this spring I had 58 new customers.
Every tues and thurs from 3pm till 8pm and every saturday from 9am till 8pm my range becomes a developmental golf course.

Good Idea! A product of always thinking of revenues. With more people visiting the range and golf shop additional opportunities are created to make more sales in the pro shop as well.

We set up the class for (4) 75 minute sessions, so 5 total hours. Most of the classes were full with 8-10 people per session.

Signs on the range are a bit aggressive. You can post all the signs you wish, but that does not mean that the student will practice the right thing nor do they have any feedback. I appreciate your thoughts and intention, but…some ranges already have too much
“clutter”, i.e., large bag stands, club cleaning buckets, training aids,
and ropes. Wish we could simplify the entire process and keep everything related to golf in context.
