2015 PGA Merchandise Show Education Conference Features Outdoor Instructional Workshops, Daily Keynote Sessions, Certification Programs and Classroom Seminars

Diverse education opportunities within multiple learning environments are available to PGA Professionals and industry executives attending the 2015 PGA Merchandise Show, January 20-23, in Orlando, Fla.

Outdoor instructional workshops, daily keynote sessions, certification programs and classroom seminars create a comprehensive educational calendar at the 62nd PGA Merchandise Show.  The daily keynote education sessions, Jan. 21-23, begin each conference day and feature presentations by Jeff Fromm, a millennial marketing expert; Todd Anderson, renowned PGA Golf Instructor; and Dr. Paul Schempp, a well-regarded authority on achieving excellence.  The keynote sessions lead a schedule of more than 40 classroom seminars during PGA Show days at the Orange County Convention Center.  Additionally, PGA Professionals Mike Malaska and Stan Utley, along with PGA/LPGA Professional Nancy Quarcelino, renowned instructor Dr. Jim Suttie and sports medicine expert, Dr. Tom LaFountain will present one-hour outdoor golf instructional workshops during the PGA Show Outdoor Demo Day, Jan. 20, at the Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge in Winter Garden, Fla.  Also on Jan. 20, the PGA of America will offer a jump start session for the CPP Player Development certification and FlightScope will present a condensed FlightScope® Academy program.

Registration is now available at www.PGAShow.com with early registration savings through December 15, 2014.  Also, single-session pricing returns for the second year to offer flexible scheduling and budget options for registrants.  PGA Professionals are able to earn more than 30 MSR credits through participation in PGA Education and PGA Merchandise Show programs, especially relevant with the current MSR cycle closing June 15, 2015.

PGA Professionals Mike Malaska and Stan Utley, along with PGA/LPGA Professional Nancy Quarcelino, renowned instructor Dr. Jim Suttie and sports medicine expert, Dr. Tom LaFountain will provide hands-on golf skill instruction during one-hour sessions at the teaching pavilion of the Orange County National Golf Center, on Tuesday, Jan. 20, during the PGA Show Outdoor Demo Day.  PGA Professionals receive 1 MSR credit in the PGA Education category per session.  Registration is available at www.pgashow.com on a first-come, first-served basis due to a limited capacity venue.

Additionally, a condensed FlightScope® Academy program will be held in conjunction with the 2015 PGA Merchandise Show Outdoor Demo Day, 11:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., at the Tooth Course of Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge.  All attendees will be Certified FlightScope® Professionals after the completion of the course and an online exam. PGA Professionals will receive 5 MSR credits (PGA Education).  Also, the PGA of America will offer a jump start session for the CPP Player Development certification, 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, Jan. 20, at the Orange County Convention Center.  Registration available at www.PGAShow.com.

The 14th PGA Teaching & Coaching Summit, presented by OMEGA, also will be offered during PGA Show week, Jan. 18-19, at the Orange County Convention Center.  The PGA of America’s largest educational forum emphasizes the coaching side of developing players where leading instructors and specialists share proven teaching methods.
